RETURN, REFUND, EXCHANGE & CANCELLATION POLICY

Goldenzari by Shujat

At Goldenzari by Shujat, every garment is crafted with exceptional attention to detail and often involves extensive hand embroidery, customization, and made-to-order production. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

By placing an order through www.goldenzari.com.pk, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.


1. GENERAL POLICY

Due to the handmade and customized nature of our products, Goldenzari by Shujat operates a strict Return, Refund, Exchange and Cancellation Policy.

Most of our garments are produced specifically for individual customers and require significant investment in materials, labor, embroidery, craftsmanship, and production planning.

For this reason, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are limited.


2. NON-REFUNDABLE ORDERS

The following orders are strictly non-refundable:

  • Bridal Wear

  • Wedding Wear

  • Couture Orders

  • Made-to-Measure Orders

  • Customized Orders

  • Colour-Modified Orders

  • Personalized Orders

  • Products purchased during promotional sales

  • Gift Cards

  • Clearance Items

Once production has commenced, these orders cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded.


3. ORDER CANCELLATION

Customers may request cancellation within 24 hours of placing an order, provided production has not yet commenced.

After 24 hours or once production has begun, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.

If cancellation is approved within the permitted period:

  • Payment gateway fees may be deducted.

  • Processing fees may be deducted where applicable.

  • Refund timelines may vary depending on the payment provider.

Goldenzari by Shujat reserves the right to refuse cancellation requests once materials, embroidery work, tailoring, or production activities have commenced.


4. EXCHANGES

Goldenzari by Shujat does not generally offer exchanges.

Exchange requests may only be considered if:

  • The wrong item was delivered.

  • The product received materially differs from the confirmed order.

  • The item arrives with a manufacturing defect.

All exchange requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

Requests submitted after this period may not be accepted.


5. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If you receive:

  • A defective item

  • A damaged item

  • An incorrect product

  • A product with a manufacturing defect

You must notify us within 7 days of receiving the order.

  • Description of Issue

  • Clear Photographs

  • Unboxing Images (if available)

6. CONDITIONS FOR APPROVED RETURNS

Where a return has been approved by Goldenzari by Shujat, the item must:

  • Be unworn.

  • Be unused.

  • Be unwashed.

  • Be free from perfume, stains, makeup, or damage.

  • Have all original tags attached.

  • Be returned in original packaging.

Items failing inspection may be rejected and returned to the customer.


7. CUSTOM, MADE-TO-MEASURE & BRIDAL ORDERS

Due to the personalized nature of these products:

  • No returns are accepted.

  • No exchanges are accepted.

  • No refunds are provided.

This includes orders involving:

  • Size customization

  • Measurement customization

  • Colour customization

  • Fabric modifications

  • Design alterations

  • Bridal consultations

  • Special embroidery requests

Customers are responsible for ensuring all submitted measurements and specifications are accurate.


8. COLOUR VARIATIONS

We make every effort to display product colours accurately.

However, colours may vary due to:

  • Screen settings

  • Mobile displays

  • Lighting conditions

  • Photography equipment

  • Fabric dyeing processes

Minor colour variations shall not be considered defects and do not qualify for returns or refunds.


9. HANDCRAFTED VARIATIONS

Many Goldenzari garments feature:

  • Hand Embroidery

  • Zardozi

  • Dabka

  • Naqshi

  • Kora

  • Resham

  • Stone Work

  • Handmade Embellishments

Minor differences between product photographs and the final garment are natural characteristics of handcrafted luxury products and shall not constitute defects.


10. SALE ITEMS

Products purchased during:

  • Seasonal Sales

  • Flash Sales

  • Clearance Events

  • Promotional Campaigns

  • Discounted Events

are considered final sale and are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges.


11. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Goldenzari by Shujat proudly ships worldwide.

For countries where Goldenzari provides a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping service through its approved shipping partners, customers will generally not be required to pay additional customs duties, import taxes, or clearance charges upon delivery, as these costs are included within the shipping arrangement.

However, customs regulations vary between countries and may change without notice. In rare circumstances, local customs authorities may impose additional charges, request documentation, or hold shipments for inspection. Any such actions are outside the control of Goldenzari by Shujat.

For orders shipped using a customer-selected courier, freight forwarder, or any shipping method not arranged directly by Goldenzari by Shujat, the customer shall be solely responsible for:

  • Customs Duties

  • Import Taxes

  • Clearance Charges

  • Brokerage Fees

  • Local Government Charges

  • Any Other Destination-Country Fees

Delivery timelines provided for international orders are estimates only and may be affected by:

  • Customs Processing

  • Security Inspections

  • Public Holidays

  • Weather Conditions

  • Airline Delays

  • Courier Delays

  • Government Regulations

Goldenzari by Shujat shall not be liable for delays caused by customs authorities, border inspections, courier companies, or other third parties involved in international transportation.

Refusal to accept an international shipment, failure to provide required customs documentation, or abandonment of a shipment by the customer shall not automatically qualify the customer for a refund, exchange, or cancellation.

Customers are encouraged to contact our team before placing an order if they have questions regarding shipping arrangements, duties, taxes, or delivery requirements for their country.


12. REFUNDS

Refunds are only issued where Goldenzari by Shujat determines that:

  • A return claim is valid.

  • A manufacturing defect exists.

  • The wrong item was supplied.

  • Fulfillment errors occurred on our part.

Approved refunds will be issued through the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on:

  • Banks

  • Payment Gateways

  • Credit Card Providers

  • Financial Institutions

Refund processing may take up to 15 business days after approval.


13. EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS

For customers located within the European Union, statutory consumer rights available under applicable law will remain unaffected.

However, under EU consumer protection regulations, personalized goods, custom-made products, colour-modified products, and made-to-measure garments are generally exempt from standard withdrawal and cooling-off rights.

As many Goldenzari products are produced specifically for individual customers, these exemptions may apply.


14. GOLDENZARI'S RIGHT TO REFUSE RETURNS

Goldenzari by Shujat reserves the right to refuse any return, exchange, or refund request where:

  • The item has been used.

  • The item has been altered by a third party.

  • The item has been damaged after delivery.

  • The request falls outside the permitted timeframe.

  • The claim is unsupported by sufficient evidence.


15. PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Goldenzari by Shujat makes every effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, and colours displayed on the website accurately represent the final product.

However:

  • Product colours may vary slightly due to lighting conditions, photography, fabric dyeing processes, and individual screen settings.

  • Handcrafted embellishments may vary slightly from photographs.

  • Product images may occasionally contain styling elements, accessories, or presentation details used for photography purposes.
